Shinken Studio emerged as a result of a longtime passion for Japanese swords and their respective arts. It specializes in koshirae for modern production Japanese-style blades and Japanese iaito.
The studio is currently led by Vlatko Čerepinko, a dedicated JSA practitioner and president of our association.

Testimonials

Tozando Iaito
Extremely good build quality! I don't go easy on it, the tsuka-ito is still tight, even now when the temperature has changed. The blade is now well-centered and every cut feels effortless! Considering I went for mostly »budget« options, the craftsmanship is really, really high quality. The tsuka fits my hand very well in terms of thickness and length.

Hanwei Raptor Nanbokucho Katana
Im collecting Iaitos and Shinkens since 2008, but i gotta admit that this one is one of the best handcrafted Shinkens i have. My Shinken is precisely made and you can see how much dedication, time, love and effort Mr.Vlatko put in it. Thank You for fulfilling my expectations!
